Removal of speedy deletion template[edit]

I've removed the speedy deletion template as this area of San Diego appears to have lots of WP:RS mentions when doing a quick google search. The article definitely needs expansion though.

Just a very quick search turns up sample links such as: [1] [2] [3]

I can definitely get to work on it's expansion. Also i agree with your removal of the template. SoCal L.A. (talk) 02:28, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As you can see from the history, the speedy-deletion tag was added and removed back in September 2009, when the article was brand new and was only 829 bytes in size. Since then it has been expanded to 6,804 bytes with 13 references. So I think it is out of trouble. Of course, there's always room for more. --MelanieN (talk) 14:50, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move discussion in progress[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:San Ysidro, San Diego, California which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RM bot 06:45, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Part of Point Loma?[edit]

The article was changed from "a neighborhood of Point Loma" to "an island in San Diego Bay", with the edit summary "Shelter Island is technically not Point Loma". I have changed it back because I don't understand the objection; I think it is clearly part of Point Loma. It is part of the Peninsula Planning Area.[4] The zip code is 92106. And it is certainly NOT an island. User:FrysUniverse, do you want to talk about it, or explain why you think it should not be described as part of Point Loma? --MelanieN (talk) 13:54, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
