Zac wizardry

[edit]

He actually made carrots appear in a flash at the end of A-G, I don't know if that could be done with mere sleight of hand. Should we affirm he is magical too, like the genies? Despite speculation he doesn't appear to have to wish to get this to work. 174.92.132.81 (talk) 21:49, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fraternal twin order

[edit]

Does anyone know if any episodes have made reference to which of the two is the older/younger sister between Shine and Shimmer? 184.145.18.50 (talk) 23:46, 20 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It was never said in any episodes yet, but Shine is older by a minute. I found the out on [1]Jesynelson (talk) 23:40, 1 January 2018 (UTC)Jesynelson[reply]

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format. Me3234, you submitted a blank edit request. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:26, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Missing episodes

[edit]

"The First Wish" aired as a one hour special on Treehouse the Saturday before this. This weekend they aired it again in two halves along with the season two premiere.

We may need to amend the overall numbering. We should see how distributors represent it. It may be considered episodes 21 and 22 meaning s2e1 could be episode 23 overall instead of 21 as it is presently listed. Ranze (talk) 00:33, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

FR

[edit]

@FlameRabbit: It is copyvio to add summaries of unaired episodes. Also please do not remove character details like Zac's black belt. I will restore that later. If that gets too big we can split off to a character list page. With season two this would br beneficial since we are getting more genies and pets.

The problem with saying US is originalnair date is that is not always the case. For example s2e1 just aired tonight in Canada and apparently not in the US so it is Canada who has the OAD in this case. Ranze (talk) 00:54, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reminding me about the unaired episode summaries. I've removed those. As for minor details about the characters -- I really don't think those belong. Zac's listing on the page had far more info than the other characters, and most of it was fancruft. You can add the karate bit back if you want, but things like "After Zac successfully makes animals disappear during a magic trick, Shimmer and Shine wonder if Zac is a genie" shouldn't be there.
I've changed "Original air date (US)" to "U.S. air date", because you made a good point. I only changed what you put because I thought you were just switching "air date" to "debut" without a reason. --FlameRabbit (talk) 01:37, 12 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@FlameRabbit: if the info is based on stuff from the original source then I don't think it's fancruft. The genies do wonder aloud if he's a genie, that's pretty relevant, they're experts on stuff genie and don't appear to jump to conclusions like that about the evil sorceress even though she's performed real magic. Why is some IP going around saying she voices Leah in season 2? Ranze (talk) 19:44, 8 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Character list page

[edit]

I've proposed we split to List of Shimmer and Shine characters. The cast of this show has grown so much in the second season that it is beginning to take over this page and it would be easier to manage if it had its own page. Ranze (talk) 16:30, 5 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Show ending or not

[edit]

@Anthonyg3281 and Julie Tirock:

Before an edit war starts, the two of you need to sort this out. Before you can do that, though, a few points y'all need to keep in mind:

The way this sort of situation would be resolved by most editors is for each of them to present reliable sources that support their claims and for each editor to be aware that maybe the other editor is right. This is not a battleground. Truly experienced editors would actually research the "opposing" conclusion as much as their own conclusion.

As is, the only source that has been presented is an Instagram post referring to a wrap party. For a movie, this would definitely signal that shooting has finished but TV shows sometimes have wrap parties at the end of a season even if they've been renewed. So, until there's another source explicitly stating that the show has ended, status quo remains. Ian.thomson (talk) 22:11, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
