Proposed deletion of Showtek article

[edit]

this article has been proposed for deletion on the basis that the duo lack notability however they recently won:

Best Dj and Best Track for 2008 at the UK Hard Dance Awards

have been the headline at many of the premier music events in the genre of music including and not limited to:

Xqlusive, BLACK, Defqon 1., Qlimax,

the are touring artists with solid fan bases in Australia, Europe and Northern America.

At a Rave (concert) they can draw thousands of people.

At the moment i cannot find the exact reference but i remember them playing on BBC radio to millions of listeners.

on this basis the article should be kept and references expanded upon.

interview of Showtek,

I dont have a lot of time right now to gather an extensive list of references, but i believe that Showteks 2008 album did very in the UK charts and deserves investigation as well.

Please, remove this page. I'm speaking on behalve of Showtek. The content is too old and is never being updated by anyone.

Showtek discography

[edit]

Support split - Discography section takes up more than half of the page and should be split to a new article entitled Showtek discography. --Jax 0677 (talk) 18:58, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Showtek

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Showtek's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "UK":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 13:38, 3 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
