silence equals death, action equals life

[edit]

action equals life is the other half of this slogan. it was popular on pins, posters, and t-shirts, but the only things i could find on google is this picture from 1993 and this article from 1992, although neither says the action=life part is from the SEDP. tbqh i had no idea it was a project, only the artist's name. it would be neat if wikipedia could mention this part of the slogan in some way, but i don't have any way to prove it is related to SEDP, only that it was certainly the other half of the silence equals death protest chant. i could look through some old material to see if this fact is verifiable but if anyone in academia sees this, and has access to the donated papers of activists and others who might have such material, it would save me from having to hunt for it. :^) (edited) 74.46.254.44 (talk) 05:30, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
