[edit]This article has a few issues to be resolved. This article has great detail about the SDS-V, but starts to stray from the specific topic. It goes on to talk about other makes and models of Simmons kits and the company's closure. I believe whoever created this article didn't know that there was already one that discussed the rest of the company's history, etc. I think that we should either merge this article into the main article, or we could eliminate the sections that stray away from the topic at hand.

- This instrument (as the first of its kind) and the company are each sufficiently notable for an article of their own. There is no merger banner on the company now, and I am removing the merger banner from here. - Fayenatic (talk) 19:30, 2 June 2010 (UTC)
