Request.

I am making a request that the Irish language name of the Island, "Sceilg Mhichíl", be used for the article instead, for reasons that it is used on the UNESCO site. If this isn't possible then there should be a redirect. Thank you. --Éamonn Cálraighe (talk) 15:48, 11 August 2012 (UTC)

I have made the redirect. A name change is not necessary as this is the English language Wikipedia, not the Gaelic language Wikipedia. Secondly, the name Skellig Michael is far more known around the world then the gaelic name. The Banner talk 17:35, 11 August 2012 (UTC)
Understood - thank you. --Éamonn Cálraighe (talk) 17:46, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Unsourced and bad English

"The island before a monastery was mostly used by birds for mating." Can we delete this, or at least edit it to make it read better? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.101.121.132 (talk) 09:16, 14 August 2017 (UTC)

I have attempted an improvement. If not "enough", it may be best to simply remove. As you suggest. Guliolopez (talk) 20:31, 19 August 2017 (UTC)

refs standardized but I accidentally undid some recent edits, will fix tomorrow

I standardized the refs but then noticed I accidentally undid some recent edits. I started to fix what I had broken but now I just can't keep my eyes open. Sorry for the inconvenience! Tomorrow I will fix what I broke... ♦ Lingzhi2 (talk) 17:13, 30 March 2019 (UTC)

Very nice work Ling, and thanks a bunch.. Don't worry about the about the reversions, nothing too major, will do that myself. Ceoil (talk) 20:13, 30 March 2019 (UTC)
Looking back, what you reverted wasn't worth a whole lot, least you be loosing sleep man. Ceoil (talk) 00:53, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
I think I got it all, tho it seems like I may have missed a {{convert}} template somewhere or other. [I thought I saw another but then couldn't find it]. Good luck with the article! ♦ Lingzhi2 (talk) 01:17, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
