Noticed Something

[edit]

I do beleive that the figure in the painting is grabbing itself by the breast. If you look closely, you can see a female nipple. Perhaps this was a statement that the rebels were being too harsh in their attempt to gain prosperity (represented as milk) from the state (the grimacing figure with the breast) 198.111.167.146 (talk) 22:12, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

POV check?

[edit]

the4re are some parts which may be biased regarding the motivees of Dali for painting the piece. Please check them out.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.160.181.12 (talkcontribs) 17:20, 3 July 2007‎ (UTC)[reply]

Weak interpretation

[edit]

The given interpretation seems to be written by someone less than professional, even going so far as to use the word "realistic" as opposed to life-like, thus attributing this painting to be of the realist movement. Perhaps some revisions should be made to the analysis section, or at least some words replaced to give off the intended meaning and make the overall page look more professional.
