Indictable-only / misdemeanor

According to legislation.gov.uk, Section 4 of the Offences against the Person Act 1861, as amended, still defines soliciting to murder as a misdemeanor, notwithstanding the reforms of the Criminal Law Act 1967. The source given for it being indictable only is dead, since the CPS apparently removed the sentencing manual from its website. I'm not legally savvy enough to know what other source might support this assertion. Hairy Dude (talk) 14:32, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
