Discussion on Reddit
[edit]Sorensen's School, and this wikipedia page has been discussed on Reddit, following a disturbing personal narrative. --Slashme (talk) 22:30, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
- My suggestion is that any proposed edits about any alleged abuse be discussed on this talk page prior to being added to the article. There is a concern about possible libel. This is *not* saying that any possible abuse did or did not happen just that Wiki policies drive what can and can not be included. Thanks, Chris W4chris (talk) 23:44, 30 June 2011 (UTC)
This information is incorrect and is slander. There are posts by disgruntled students that are put on a website but there is no proof of any of this action taking place in the controversy section other than the lawsuit which was "settled" by myspace. I request that this controversy section be removed for lack of substantial evidence and due to the fact that it is slanted being that the only negative information is being brought from one website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.121.133 (talk) 16:39, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- In the absence of reliable, objective, 3rd party sources, I agree with removing the controversy section. W4chris (talk) 20:28, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
- Speaking of "objective, 3rd party sources", this sentence: "Sorenson’s Ranch School was also one of the first schools to implement an equine therapy or animal therapy program [8]" should be removed unless another source can be found for it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.23.81.252 (talk) 03:06, 3 July 2011 (UTC)

I swear if you work at a place there is no way you should be able to edit the wikipedia page of the place. This reads like a advert. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.105.85.214 (talk) 10:53, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
controversy section
[edit]I find it disingenuous that the controversy section has been removed. Despite their best efforts at silencing survivors through litigation, there exists swaths of survivor accounts online and in reputable sources. How about Wendi Sorenson’s sleeping with underage boys? https://www.ksl.com/article/45266815 http://www.heal-online.org/sorensen.htm http://www.fornits.com/phpbb/index.php/topic,27754.0.html This place needs to be exposed and shut down. 69.124.32.47 (talk) 18:18, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
