Sounds Like Babblefish...[edit]

While we're at it, I'm sure someone by now has played the game and understands English better than whoever wrote that. Its confusing, and I'm pretty sure it breaks NPOV. I don't even care about that, really. I just don't understand any of it.

To be honest, the "History of Prodesto" section is practically a carbon copy of the game's Prologue... or at least, what it would've been like if someone Babblefished the Japanese. That section could really be shrunk down quite a bit if we minimized it to just keep the relevant stuff. The characters page will probably also need that, considering that it's still awkwardly referring to Sepps as "Sepu" and Nereids as Mermaids. Wakuseino 18:57, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's more accurate to say they're not exactly big enough to do multi-regional releases. They seem to usually get KOEI to release their games in Europe, so if KOEI doesn't pick up, I suppose that's that? Wakuseino 18:45, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The gender of the hero[edit]

I think we should add that things are a little bit different if you play as the boy and as the girl-hotspot

How different? If it's just that people talk to them differently (gender specific pronouns and other things that you might/n't say to a boy/girl) then it's not worth mentioning. If it's storyline/characters/gameplay differences or you know, something anyone would care about, then yeah, I guess. A source would be fine too. -masa ♫ 03:31, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its only for the demon path,when you play as Girl the story is more funnier and has humorism. Like the end the girl confesess that she has fallen for Gig. If you play as boy the story is much more darker and some end you kill everyone and became devouver. - hotspot

I've finished the normal and demon paths as a female hero, and there is very little difference between the two that I've seen. My female hero is perpetually referred to as "he," "guy," and "man." The bath scene at the beginning of the game is different for each sex, but that's the only thing I've seen so far. (However, I have not completed a playthrough as a male hero. I'll do that on my fourth cycle.) The only real difference it makes is that some character endings will be different based on whether you are male or female. Hotspot, if you would be so kind, please tell me where in the demon path the female hero confesses any romantic interest in Gig; I've witnessed both the defeat and victory endings and have no recollection of such a scene. The confession occurs in the female hero path Gig ending. I've never witnessed any gender-specific pronoun attributed to the hero on any path, just attributions to Gig. Helmarn (talk) 02:32, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gameplay[edit]

To someone who knows nothing of the game, the gameplay section is singularly unhelpful. Is it an action/adventure game? A traditional RPG? A tactical RPG? A strategy game?
