Question

This might be a dumb question, but the name of the article and the bold text in the lead are different, so is the name in the infobox. Am I missing something or Is this an error? Also the date in the lead sentence and infobox is 1880, but the title says 1877. I'm a little confused by this. Cheers. — AustralianRupert (talk) 04:58, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Somebody else created the article's title with the '1877' date, while I wrote the article. I'm guessing the 1877 signifies the start of the campaign rather than when the medal was instituted (1880). Jack1956 (talk) 12:03, 3 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
