[edit]Aren't names of the format "816 South Grand Avenue" more normal for such buildings? Circeus (talk) 23:22, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
- I used the nomenclature on this building from the List of Registered Historic Places in Los Angeles, which is in turn based on the way it is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. If others think that the format "816 South Grand Avenue" is prefereable, I'm fine with that. Cbl62 (talk) 00:30, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
- The NRHP quite often uses rather... idiosyncratic schemes. Here's a selection of other building (culled mostly from the "tallest" lists; note taht use of street/avenue/boulevard is variable):
- 311 South Wacker Drive
- 900 North Michigan
- 330 North Wabash
- 181 West Madison Street
- 100 North Tampa
- 1100 Wilshire
- 1027 Wilshire Boulevard
- 50 Kennedy Plaza
- 10 Lafayette Square
- 360 Central Park West (NRHP contributing property)
- 55 Central Park West (NRHP contributing property)
