1 link removed - Clip was TV News footage - No indication from clip information or uploader profile thaqt they had rights to footage, or were associated with the production entity responsible for it. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:04, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The dates are horribly confusing

[edit]

From the lead: "re-opened[1] on 21st June 2007 ... reopened in 2008 on the 21st March". Which? On top of that, the BBC report mentioned (from 20th March 2008) says it is "now closed". Oh, and further down: "was re-opened to the public on 21 July 2007" and also "re-opened for the 2008 season on the 15th March". They can't all be right! Someone with local knowledge, please rewrite this stuff so it makes some sense! 86.136.250.154 (talk) 00:04, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's shut completely, from what I was told. 99.246.138.40 (talk) 14:18, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It shut but re opened again as 'New Pleasureland'--89.241.229.231 (talk) 23:54, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Closure

[edit]

Does anyone else think its a bit odd the way it shut, no major investments in 2006 as promised, no major ride for the old southport zoo site, the helterskelter was removed dispite a plaque being on it saying how important it was and how it was going to stay![1] and what happened to it? --89.241.229.231 (talk) 23:56, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2010 season

Future Ride Ideas

[edit]

I see space Indaver at Blackpool is up for sale and the polo tower at morecambe could be moved in a few years time after the contract for the telephone mast expires, maybe to relocate them to Southport may be an idea, maybe get back the chaos and some other rides like that? some more permanant rollercoasters like the wild cat but on a bigger scale would be good too to show that pleasureland is dedicated and to stay? Bankhallbretherton (talk) 22:47, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just found another ride that will be available, with some new cars on it, maybe it could be saved and moved to southport? see the Jungle Coaster at Legoland Windsor... this link Bankhallbretherton (talk) 17:15, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request it's removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

Page name

[edit]

Can the page name been changed to reflect the business. The park is now called Southport Pleasureland, if you search Wiki for this it doesn't seem to find it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tommybenit (talkcontribs) 21:03, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
