[edit]I think there is no source which says he has been elevated to main crew. Most of the papers I read about the situation says that a young Russian cosmonaut (Sergey Prokopiev) would be picked. So this part of the article seems to me totally unsourced. Hektor (talk) 06:52, 19 May 2015 (UTC)
It seems that a Kazhak Cosmonaut named Aydyn Aimbetov has been selected to replace Sarah Brightman as of June 22, 2015. However, the relevant page in Wikipedia for Soyuz TMA-18M shows him as being a 'spaceflight participant' which term normally refers to a space tourist paying their own way. This is rather confusing. Would someone kindly clarify the matter please.Bakhtiar 06:30, 22 June 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 180.234.120.104 (talk)
- According to TASS Aydyn Aimbetov is from KazKosmos, the Kazakh space agency. Brazil (2006), Malaysia (2007) and South Korea (2008) had previously professionals visiting the space station for a prolonged week, they weren't named 'spaceflight participant' either. --Regards, Necessary Evil (talk) 18:10, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Concepts
[edit]Was Soyuz TMA-18M 1) a flight to the space station, 2) a flight to and from the space station, or 3) the vehicle (or part of it, the capsule) used for the flight(s)? These concepts seem to be mixed up in this article. --Jhertel (talk) 14:58, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
