The song was recorded in 2007.

The song was officially recorded in 2007, as the description of the article states, the song was debuted in 2007 along with the album named “Jennifer Hudson”. However, the song may or was not fully produced/released in 2007, so it may have been released in 2008 like how the “released date” states. But the song was still originally recorded in 2007. Another user had already stated that in the description. The song cannot be recorded in 2008, that’s imposible since the song was released in that particular year.
