Pronunciation?[edit]

It might be helpful to add what is the proper pronunciation for "Sproul" on here. I have heard the "ou" pronounced both as "oo" (uː) as in "spool", as well as "ow" (aʊ) as in "scowl". And the UCLA Sproul Hall section lists the latter pronunciation. I want to know which is correct for Berkeley. --164.67.235.98 (talk) 08:00, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

this article could use dates, architects, views of Telegraph Ave when it reached Sather Gate, before the demolition of a commercial city block. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.187.236.211 (talk) 01:21, 9 April 2011 (UTC)

Occupy Berkeley protests[edit]

I don't know if the Occupy protests merit either a mention here or an article to themselves, though they are certainly newsworthy, at least at the present time. 66.234.204.13 (talk) 07:06, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

Bas-relief mural in Lower Sproul[edit]

Prior to my edits today, this article had read that Emmy Lou Packard and her ex-husband Byron Randall, together had built the bas-relief mural together however it was not cited. I found a cited source that did not mention Byron Randall working on the mural at all. I updated the article and added citation today to reflect what I discovered in the source I found. If you can find something that disagrees with my findings and named Byron Randall please feel free to update the article and write on this talk page. Thank you.
