"The Company" Accuracy
[edit]In the "My Company" section, it states that the C8 has a BMW V12, however I thought it had a 4.2L V8. I am reluctant to change it because I am not completely sure, and I know that certian models (C12) do have 12-cylinders. There is a conflict with the V12 statement in the Spyker C8 specific page, also, as [the C8 page] states (in correspondence with my belief) that the C8 models have an Audi-derived 4.2L V8. - You are completly right! The C8 models use a 4.2L V8 with 400hp from Audi and the C12 & D12 (SSUV) use a 6.0L W12 with 500 hp from VW.
The Saab Accquisition
[edit]As far as I'm aware the name of Spyker Cars will stay as it is. The new group will be called Saab Spyker Automobiles having two divisons which are Spyker Cars and Saab Automobile am I wrong?? Because the renaming is yet to be confirmed by Spyker(Wiki id2 (talk) 16:53, 27 January 2010 (UTC))
- Yes, that's what I gather. Those things can change quickly though. ¨¨ victor falk 19:41, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
The Saab Spyker Automobiles article needs expansion
[edit]All help welcome. Thank you. ¨¨ victor falk 19:41, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Any word that it is still planned to become the parent company? Right now, the parent is Spyker Cars N.V. according to press releases with the subsidiaries Spyker Cars and Saab Automobile. Styath (talk) 23:21, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
- As far as I can tell, Spyker Cars N.V. is still the legal name of the parent company. We should probably move most of the information from this article to Saab Spyker Automobiles that is not dierectly about the sports car division itself. - BilCat (talk) 13:46, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Sale to Vladimir Antonov
[edit]Has the sale actually been legally completed? If not, then Vladimir Antonov sould not be listed as the owner. Also, has the Spyker Squadron been sold to Antonov also? - BilCat (talk) 13:43, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
Spyker Silvestris Production Numbers
[edit]Most sources i've read say that only one Silvestris was built but a few state that is not the case, anyone here know anything about that?
Proposed merge of Spyker N.V. into Spyker Cars
[edit]Or the reverse move. Whatever it takes to merge. These two articles totally rehash the same facts. gidonb (talk) 01:19, 6 November 2021 (UTC)
Agree for the merge. It's not that big a company and there's a lot of the same information in both articles. ItzLarz (talk) 12:28, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 11:28, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
