Chris Cahill Samoan

[edit]

Chris Cahill under the notable players should be listed as Samoan no Australian. He has represented the Samoan national team no the Australian. I know he grew up in oz and his brother Tim is Australian, but the important thing is which team he has represented.--TinTin (talk) 09:24, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Notable Players"

[edit]

Such a list by definition will be always somewhat subjective, and opinions will vary. nevertheless to restrict it thew way it has been done her farcical. Highlight is the meaningless sentence "He was included in the List of NSL players, which was constructed exclusively to those players who had made at least one appearance in the competition between 1977 and 2004." Foremost notable are Abonyi, Ollerenshaw, Schaefer, and yes, for all it's worth Ardiles for his one match (a 0-1 vs Marconi) because he won the World Cup. If Cahill's brother is listed amongst half a dozen, but the three WC participants not, you know the underlying set of rules are pointless. Oalexander (talk) 16:34, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not really, the section needs sourcing properly but it is a proper discussion of players who have had an impact at the club and clearly state why. It's not complete and you should feel free to add others if you can provide sourced prose to show why they are notable amongst the club's players. Fenix down (talk) 19:03, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
