The name Draco[edit]
Is there no connection with Dacian Draco and/or the Draconarius?! --Codrin.B (talk) 03:06, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
Sounds like a sensible suggestion, to me. Rigore is the ablative form of rigor, so maybe RIGORE VALI AELI DRACONIS means something like "Away from the rigors of the Aelian Wall come the dragons" (meaning the draconarius standards of the cohorts, as per your suggestion).
