The result of the move request was: Moved. It is already the primary topic, as Starwood redirects here, and consensus is that that is still the status quo, and that the shorter name is the common one. — Amakuru (talk) 13:09, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

Merge proposal
I propose that Four Points by Sheraton be merged into Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide. I think that the content in the Four Points by Sheraton article can easily be explained in the context of Starwood,in addition to the fact that there is already a section about Four Points in the Starwood article, and the Sheraton article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Starwood will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. - I think that Four Points by Sheraton should be merged into Sheraton instead of Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Daylen (talk) 01:51, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
- Incorrect, Four Points by Sheraton is an independant operating brand, with Sheraton service in 4-star hotels. 37.74.122.182 (talk) 17:25, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
