Name details

[edit]

There are two discrepancies with the current article title vs contents.

  1. The article text uses an apostrophe in "Master's", but the article title does not.
  2. The second paragraph does not capitalise "residence" - which is consistent with MOS, but possibly the WP:OFFICIALNAME of the residence includes the capitalisation.

I suggest that the article title and contents should agree with each other.

So:

  1. Does the official name include the apostrophe? If so, the article name should change to include it. If not, it should be removed from the article text.
  2. Does the official name capitalise "residence"? If so, the second paragraph ought to change to match.

Multiple sources multiple uses, will decide when more sources are in play.... suspect it may need a name change to Station Masters Residence (Toodyay) Gnangarra 15:11, 17 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Possibly the lead sentence should be "The Station Master's Residence ...", which would be consistent with the last sentence. (Either way, they should match.) Mitch Ames (talk) 03:47, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I notice that the Shire of Toodyay's Municipal Inventory and Heritage List includes a "Stationmaster's House (fmr)" - no space in Stationmaster, and House instead of Residence - whose address and picture match that shown in our article. Is the other article ref ("Living History") accessible online to check? Mitch Ames (talk) 08:12, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've renamed the article per the sources. Mitch Ames (talk) 05:54, 8 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
