"equal in magnitude"

[edit]

I find the statement, "one statvolt per centimetre is equal in magnitude to one gauss" something of a tautology. One statvolt per centimetre is also equal in magnitude to one inch, one kg, and one light year. I'm tempted to strike that, but I personally dislike cgs units, so maybe someone who likes cgs units wants to make the argument in a more coherent way rather than have it canned completely.
