Is the school still referred to as "R.L.S."? I know that in Carpinteria, to the south, it's still known that way

The school shortened its name to "Stevenson School" from "Robert Louis Stevenson School" some time in the mid- to late 1990s. Current students and faculty all seem to refer to it as "Stevenson", though some alumni still call it "RLS". The school seems to be encouraging "Stevenson" as the official nickname. We call it Stevenson School, or RLS. 209.232.226.30 (talk) 18:48, 23 July 2009 (UTC) Study Skills class, Stevenson summer camp 2009[reply]

For the record, Alexander Wang attended Stevenson as a freshman but transferred out, so I'm not sure if he can legitimately be considered a "graduate" so much as an "attendee." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.94.125.36 (talk) 08:30, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
