type of nail?

What kind of nails are these? They look very wide & domed at the tops. Manytexts (talk) 04:20, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

They are of varying periods, but most are 18th and 19th century. A few must be medieval, because research showed the first were put in the tree before it was felled, i.e., before 1440. Yngvadottir (talk) 05:14, 11 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
