Stuckless Glacier

Please note that I was only in Antarctica one season. The Dry Valleys are on the mainland not Ross Island. My major contribution was dating the far-traveled inclusions brought up by the Pliestocene volcanic rocks, which turned out to be 158 +/- 22 m.y. (the same age as the voluminous Ferrar Dolerites. Stuckless J.S. and Ericksen, R.L., 1976, Strontium Isotopic Geochemistry of the Volcanic Rocks and Associated Megacrysts and Inclusions from Ross Island and Vicinity, Antarctica: Contributions to Mineralogy and Petrology, v. 58, p. 111-126.
