Contesting the speedy deletion: It is an article about a noteworthy club. It is important in two ways - firstly it is a highly reputable and well known club in junior sport. It is one of the largest junior clubs in the state and, thus, holds a vast amount of importance to the community in general as well as junior sport in Western Australia. The other important aspect to cover is the senior team. They are currently in the highest amateur league in the state and are possibly going to be involved in the semi-professional leagues from 2012 onwards (when the divisions are restructured). As most other semi-professional clubs in WA are considered noteworthy enough, despite some having considerably less impact in the junior footballing community, I feel Subiaco AFC is noteworthy. Article created as it is a noteworthy aspect to the West Australian community. As one of the largest football (soccer) clubs in the state, it holds a large amount of importance to many people and is certainly something that I feel should have a page.
