Importance

[edit]

The issue of subthreshold membrane potential oscillations is one that will gain in importance with time, as many examples are being recorded in the scientific literature continuously. That neurons have intrinsic properties is now well established, as is the fact that these properties modulate all aspects of neuronal electrophysiology. This is a good entry that can b enriched by further examples and thoughts on the matter.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Rodolfo Llinas (talkcontribs)
