Difference between genres?[edit]

I wonder about the differences between this genre, supernatural drama and magic realism. Please answer at Wikipedia:Reference_desk/Humanities#Difference_between_genres.3F. 83.250.44.41 (talk) 09:32, 15 May 2012 (UTC)

The same request was posted to Talk:Magic realism#Difference between genres? where there has been substantial discussion. Talk:Supernatural drama
Magic (supernatural) now redirects to Magic (disambiguation) rather than to magic (paranormal) because my investigation of its use showed that the paranormal target is not generally appropriate.
