Where is an English language problem in my edit? AsianGeographer (talk) 06:31, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- "Supiori Regency is a regency in the Indonesian..." is convoluted and redundant. Why use "regency" twice? Why is it superior to "Supiori is a regency in the Indonesian..."? --Merbabu (talk) 06:40, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- I would say it is superior because it is the translation of the official name and also because it matches the Indonesian name given in parentheses. When the type is in the name it is very frequent that it is repeated: King County is a county, Mississippi River is a river, Long Island is an island, Arabian Peninsula is a peninsula. - Well, you're really just making it up, and it's redundant, and poor English - the word regency twice in 1 phrase is silly. It's clear it's a regency. --Merbabu (talk) 07:22, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- What am I making up? AsianGeographer (talk) 09:21, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- Your excuse for appalling English grammar. --Merbabu (talk) 09:23, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- So you say it is bad grammar despite it can be found all over Wikipedia? Maybe you start an community research or so. Maybe actually you are making it up that it is bad grammar? AsianGeographer (talk) 09:31, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
