Hi! Here we go again...

  • There's an abrupt jump from birth in Slovenia to his working as a pork butcher. We need more in between, even if it's only a smidgin, because I keep seeing this pork butcher aged about six... Haploidavey (talk) 20:58, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
re: :D I've modified that passage, and I'll continue - have to obtain one book. --Vejvančický (talk) 08:16, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Query: (my changed copy) "In his early career Innemann was involved in various operettas, comedies a melodramas, short films and also documentaries as a cameraman, but today he is first of all known as a director."

Was he cameraman only for all these? Haploidavey (talk) 21:05, 9 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

re: Not only, we can change it for mainly or predominantly - Innemann was a man of many professions. He was actor, editor, cameraman, director, screenwriter etc. Thanks for your notice. --Vejvančický (talk) 08:16, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
re:I'll add more from Czech sources, since English information about him is unfortunately very fragmental. As for translation of Czech titles, it will be better to find official titles. I have no idea, how to translate some of the titles without being comic. I'll work on it. --Vejvančický (talk) 08:16, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
One further source of potential confusion: the play about Hitler. I assume the controversy surrounds his collaboration, and the play was supposed to flatter the Fuhrer. Did Innemann write it? Was he going to perform in it? Haploidavey (talk) 12:39, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nazi sympathizer

[edit]

I can't find any informations about his youth, on the other hand, I've added some "sad news" about his later career. --Vejvančický (talk) 11:10, 10 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I rather liked the edit that had his death as an escape from justice - but have rephrased more neutrally. Hope that's OK. Haploidavey (talk) 12:01, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Davey, it's nice to hear from you again. I've checked the sources again, there's no mention about a camp in Klecany. The local newspaper of Klecany - Klecanský zpravodaj - states that Innemann died at his home [1]. The previous version was more correct. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 14:03, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear! I'll fix it. Sad sort of article, but nice to be working with you. Haploidavey (talk) 14:06, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, very sad, and searching for refs is quite difficult. It is nothing to be proud of ... similar sad stories are often omitted by Czech historians. The most "famous" Nazi collaborators (Emanuel Moravec and Karel Čurda) have short articles here, but I still miss information about Václav Binovec and others. One day I'll write it. It is complicated, as similar stories are never black or white and one must weight carefully all the circumstances. Thanks for your careful copyedit! Best regards. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 14:39, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
