Merge "Téléroman" with "Telenovela?"
[edit]NB: This will also be on the talk page of "Telenovela".
Since these two formats are similar except in name, I think both of these should merge. What do you think? --DanCBJMS via 134.117.168.245 22:32, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
I don't know. The Telenovela, IMHO, should not be merged with Soap Operas. For Soap Operas are a different genre from Telenovelas. Soap Operas are never ending (probably classifiable as exercises in eternal frustration). On the other hand, telenovelas are like novels. They are long dramas. But they have a definite end to them. Usually they last less than one year. Typically the conflicts are solved. Often they live happily ever after.
The question I have is about the feuilleton télévisé of France and the Téléroman. Are these never ending soaps or do these come to an end and have an ending?(EnochBethany (talk) 13:28, 9 July 2010 (UTC))
