Text and/or other creative content from Tank monument was copied or moved into War memorial with [permanent diff this edit]. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists.
Hi! I noticed that in the recently closed AfD there was no consensus to delete this article but a fairly strong one that it would be better served if merged to a greater article on war monuments unless coverage of the topic as a whole could be found. I was thinking War monument as a good target.--Yaksar(let's chat)04:36, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The only thing possibly worth merging is the list of tank monuments. That a tank monument is a monument that is made from a tank is rather self-evident. -- Whpq (talk) 20:56, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, there was indeed a feeling towards a merge and I agree that war monument might be suitable. The present article was also intended to include gate guardians but none were listed and any future examples could go there. One example is WWI and the others WWII so I don't know if they'd go in separate sections or all together. Thincat (talk) 15:23, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
