New info

[edit]

The new version of the article is inherently flawed. First of all, it has problems with gamecruft and gameguide material. That means stats on how much damage tanks do, and what you need to do to use stuff, respectively. Stuff like that should not be included in an encyclopedic article per the aforementioned guidelines. The next problem is verifiability - and this branches into two problems; First is, none of the info is attributed to a source. Second, when the article has no sources, it becomes eligible for deletion, per WP:N. Now on to smaller problems: The new version of the article refers to the reader as "you", which is improper tone for an encyclopedia. Eik Corell (talk) 14:21, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tanki Online 2.0

[edit]

A new version of the page has just been updated that removes the section referring to Tanki Online 2.0. I think a section referring to Tanki Online 2.0 is necessary. Why was it removed and should it be re-instated? Skitee (talk) 08:45, 31 May 2012 (UTC) now i;m not a high rank in this game (seargant major), but it requires OPTIMUM funding to actually have fun. and, fraud problems are really easy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rampage1234 (talkcontribs) 00:57, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I want to edit this because the info doesn't include the fact that you can also earn crystals by completing daily missions. 101.183.85.249 (talk) 10:21, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Latest edits

[edit]

I've reverted the latest edits edits as seen here. The new gameplay section is the least problematic part, and could be useful, but in its current form it has problems with excessive detail, e.g explaining things like the "lobby" sub-section explaining which buttons are on the top-right side of the lobby section of the game, long descriptions of the game modes which the user could already find adequately described in the current version of the article, etc. The development section is the biggest problem for a variety of reasons: It has no appropriate reliable sourcing showing how or why any of this is notable, instead citing a version of the Russian article on the game, which is circular sourcing. This, along with a press release posted verbatim on Gamasutra which otherwise is a reliable source. The Kommersant article used to support the number of players is the best thing added as far as sourcing goes, so this could probably be salvaged and added to the current version in some way. Lastly, the localisation section is just trivia, and again, without proper sources showing how or why this is important, this is just information for the sake of information. [... 23:04, 8 July 2018 (UTC)] Removed the old reply that didn't make sense. Anyways, I suppose I agree looking back at it now. ---Everyk (talk) 12:46, 17 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
