80% of Taxpayers
[edit]It was previously stated on the page that:
"It has been estimated that almost 80% of Australian taxpayers use a tax agent to help them prepare their tax return. This can be seen as a reflection of how complex the taxation system is in Australia."
This was marked for requiring a citation since November 2010.
I chose to remove it on the basis that it has bias; toward hiring a tax agent.
If readers were to research this topic and saw that, they might possibly see this as a valid reason to hire a tax agent to complete ones taxes whilst the actual percentage remains unfounded.
The reason it was possibly placed on the page was possibly due to tax agents hoping to increase client base. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Beager (talk • contribs) 02:32, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
