Merge

I would like to propose that Tekki Shodan, Nidan, and Sandan are merged into one Tekki Kata article, it seems daft to have three articles which consist of damn near identical text. This would bring it inline with the Heian Series article. Thedarxide 11:50, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Article title

I'm not thrilled with the title, "Tekki series". It seems too informal to me, and thus, unencyclopedic. Does anyone call the series Tekki no Kata? Possibly just "Tekki", would be a better title. On the other hand, and due to the English-centrism that is preferred for the English wikipedia, perhaps the article should be titled "Iron Horse Riding". For what its worth, I'm not all that thrilled with my suggestions, either - just some thoughts, and perhaps we can move this discussion to the MA Project page. Bradford44 14:12, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

I was going to call it Tekki Kata, but thought I'd keep it in line with Heian Series. Although I guess that could be renamed as well. I don't agree with giving it an English name, people disagree with the meanings, and since the majority of dojos use the japanese names, i think it would be best. explain what style the diagrams are

there are slight differences in stance and blocks btwn styles and the exact style of the diagrams should be explained more clearly in the link. Tkjazzer 22:56, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
