Do not merge[edit]

In regards to Terasen Energy Servies being merged with Fortis, I would point out that Fortis owns hundreds of companies, and as a result merging it with the Fortis page would cause confusion and a mess.

I think that Terasen Energy Services warrants its own page due to the fact that it's offering new technology that is more and more appearing in news sources.

While there are not many live links on the internet right now, I would point to the snagged copies of news articles on the Terasen Energy services website as examples of ongoing and likely heavily increasing news coverage they will receive, particularly with the 2010 Whistler Olympic Village project underway: http://www.terasen.com/EnergyServices/News/default.htm

Thanks for your comments. If there is not substantial coverage from reliable sourced to establish wp:notability for this article subject then the options are to delete or merge (unless someone else has a better idea). This company seems fairly new, I looked at the other article, and I think it will fit in just fine there for now and can be separated back out later if there is mroe coverage of this entity. I've moved the Terasen Energy Services info into the Terasen Inc. wikipedia page. Once it has more coverage, I'll return it to its own page. In the mean time, please delete this page. Dl1971 (talk) 21:22, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
