Comic books?

[edit]

This article seems to be saying Terror Tales and Horror Stories were comic books. That's wrong, right? They were pulp fiction magazines, and unaffected by the Comics Code Authority and the Senate Subcommittee hearing on comics. In fact, those came about in the 50s, and Terror Tales was mainly active in the 30s. Right? Am I nuts here? MrBook (talk) 15:04, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Grand Comics Database says there was no comic called "Terror Tales" published during the 1950s, so I've amended the article accordingly. (There were two 1950s comics called "Beware! Terror Tales" by Fawcett Comics, and "Startling Terror Tales" by Star Publications). I am not aware of any links between the 1930s pulp magazine and the 1970s comic book. 176.61.93.235 (talk) 13:26, 2 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
