Merge

Agree with merge, not Catholic so I don't want to tackle it myself. Thatcher131 03:50, 19 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Angelus of Ireland

[edit]

I think this particular title would best serve that Irish television institution that RTÉ One broadcasts before the Six One News. :) I wouldn't be able to type very much on it though as my knowledge is limited and my research skills prodding me to take them elsewhere. Although it would seem relevant in that it has caused the station to be unique in that without it there would be a six o'clock news. That minor delay makes all the difference. :) --Candlewicke (Talk) 14:18, 5 September 2008 (UTC

I have renamed the article to The Angelus (Irish broadcast) because the original broadcast was by radio and it continues to be transmitted on that medium, not by television only, as implied by the previous article title. — O'Dea (talk) 00:06, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What is it?

[edit]

The article doesn't actually explain what it is in a way that is understandable to someone who doesn't know. —2620:0:1000:447C:3D99:38F9:75AF:3DF1 (Talk) 15:48 4 June 2014 (UTC)

The newer version of the article explains it clearly. It is a one-minute broadcast of the sound of a church bell ringing. — O'Dea (talk) 00:36, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
