Jóhann Jóhannsson?

[edit]

It's been reported that the reason for the credit to Jóhann Jóhannsson is because there's a sample from his piece "Kangaru" from the soundtrack from the movie Arrival. It makes a great deal of sense... many of Jóhannsson's songs are very ethereal and atmospheric. I'm wondering if anyone has been able to identify that sample. It would make sense to perhaps include a reference in the article, no? Rayeverett (talk) Rayeverett (talk) 19:56, 1 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The interpolation of Jóhannsson's track hasn't been mentioned by any reliable secondary sources so far, only fan sources, unreliable entertainment sites etc., otherwise I'd have included it in the Music and lyrics section. I've been waiting to see if any outlet would mention it, but since you bought it up, if nothing pops up by the end of this week, I'll include the info and cite it using the liner notes as a primary source. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 01:50, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
