I thought The Bolshoi formed in Trowbridge then moved to London. I've seen no reference to Leeds in their press releases. Wswaine 08:48, 16 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Paul Clark the keyboard player was from Leeds, moved to London and joined the band. I've seen reference to the band being from Leeds but this is not accurate. Thebolshoibrothers (talk) 22:59, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone else think it is odd that the music from the mid to late 80's is compared to Proto-goth? One might expect the Bolshoi to be considered a sort of Post-goth considering the discography dates. Proto-goth should be looking at the work that Siouxsie and the Banshees, Joy Division, and the Damned were doing in the late 70's. By the later 80's, goth was on its second wave.
