More than Start class article

[edit]

This article is more than Start class. It is well-written, with citations. I hope it can be reviewed and raised up in class. --Prairieplant (talk) 16:21, 15 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Prairieplant I find it well written, too. In one case I should wish, that the "bad guy" would not easily identify the murderer. Stephanie from Germany, lover of Cadfael. Stephphie (talk) 20:28, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No sources, possibly OR

[edit]

On the contrary to the poster above: the article cites barely no sources and states a lot of unsourced facts and opinions. Basically two thirds of it should be omitted by WP guidelines in the near future, if someone doesnt work in sources. (I am not able to do this.) 95.90.129.104 (talk) 10:54, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There is a list of references in the article. It describes the series of novels, and there is an article with reference to book reviews for each novel. The Bibliography includes a book or two written about the series. Once the television shows began to air, a summary of the connection between them and the novels is made. The main source of notability of the series is the reviews of each novel, and those articles are linked to this one. I still find this a well-written article, not original research but with obvious sources. --Prairieplant (talk) 18:49, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(years later...) I have to agree with 95.90.129.104. The Historical background, Themes, and Differences between books and television sections lack inline citations so they appear to be an editor's personal analysis. Plot summaries can be sourced to the books themselves, but any analysis needs a reliable independent source. Schazjmd (talk) 21:20, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
