Girl's name[edit]

Watch the film guys. Her name is Adrianne, and at no point is the name "Darian" ever used. Spaceman912 (talk) 09:15, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I just watched this move, a day or two ago, on Pluto TV.  The subtitles gave her name, every time it was spoken, as “Adrian”.  I just checked the IMDb, and it gives the character's name as “Darian”.  On doing some further Googling, I find the claim made that the name was “Darian” in the original theatrical release of the movie, but was changed to “Adrian” when the movie was edited for TV, including dubbing in every instance where the name is spoken.  Associated with this is the claim, disputed below by an anonymous user, that the character was based on a real girl named Darian, who sued over the use of her name in the movie.  I think it will take more investigation than I feel like doing now, to properly sort this out. — Bob Blaylock (talk) 03:43, 10 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
all the crap about the character supposedly being based on a real person and there being a lawsuit is not corroborated by the links provided, which don’t even meet the Reliable Sources guideline anyway, being blogs and open sources like IMDB. I deleted any reference to these dubious claims. 2600:1700:D6E0:65E0:6C92:CA16:F511:A641 (talk) 03:35, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Book based?[edit]

Is it based on a book and if yes, what book is it based on? 2001:16B8:18A6:1200:201D:7EB6:8799:C68C (talk) 20:22, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
