Some background on the name of this article: The Korean title of the song is 장군님 (The General, i.e. Kim Jong-il) 축지법 (chukjibeop) 쓰신다 (uses). The word "great" (위대한) does not appear, although -님 appears as a formalizing suffix. Chukjibeop (shukuchi in Japanese) is literally "shrinking the earth." It emphasizes that a traveler alters the nature of distance rather than the nature of his body, and therefore is closest to the literary concept of "warp" in comparison to the more general "teleportation." The only Google Books source that I can find translating the title[1] does so as "warp" amid a deprecating discussion of the Kims. The Google web search results are "General Uses Warp" (1420) vs. "General Uses Teleportation" (206). I do not know of any English translation originating from Korean sources. 73.71.251.64 (talk) 19:33, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I totally agree with you that the article should be moved to "General Uses Warp". Even a cursory look of those using "General uses teleportation" or "The Great General uses teleportation" shows that these are nearly all Wikipedia mirrors or copy content from this article (i.e. citogenesis). This seems like a novel translation by Wikipedia and reminds me of the issues surrounding the so-called "Jewel Voice" broadcast of the Japanese Emperor Hirohito, although "The Great General uses teleportation" has not been picked up by any reliable sources as far as I can see. I will boldly move the title of this article to the official one ASAP. —AFreshStart (talk) 15:02, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
