Wayne Fontana / Fontana records -- a coincidence?
[edit]I've tried without success to find out if there was a cause-effect relationship of some sort in Wayne Fontana having the same name as his record label. Was it just a coincidence? If someone has any background on it, it might be a handy trivia item to list. Stanky 14:54, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- It's coincidence. Wayne Fontana took his stage name from Elvis Presley's drummer DJ Fontana, while Phillips first issued records under the Fontana label in the 1950s.Tim gueguen (talk) 03:53, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
