Hello. I have been asked to defend the posting of "The Natori Company". There are many fashion companies listed on Wikipedia, that are much younger and less established than The Natori Company. The Natori Company has been around for 30 years, and is considered one of the premier companies in high end women's lingerie. The product is distributed in every high-end department store in the US, and to at least 15 countries internationally. There is a separate posting for Josie Natori, that is not contested, so it seems strange that this one is. Retailnews (talk) 14:06, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
- The article Josie Natori is not contested because she is in fact notable according to the policies and guideline. I do not see how just because Josie is notable that the company meets the notability criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia and I don't see any reliable 3rd party sources establishing the company's notability on its own merit which is the reason I tagged this article and not hers. I thank you though for following the procedures noted in the tag and addressing the issue here instead of simply removing the tag which many people in similar situations seem to do. Perhaps we can look at rewriting this article in a slightly different tone and including reliable 3rd pary sourcing to keep others from doing the same as I did.
