Idiots Posting Spoilers Before West Coast Airing[edit]

Wow, you had to spoil the million dollar win for the west coasters. You couldn't have kept your damn mouths shut until midnight, when it would be "fair game" to post? You could've easily resisted coming to the article. Additionally, if you were a fan of a show like Big Brother, you would see that that there are people who subscribe to the live feeds and post updates on those articles as they happen rather than waiting for the week's show to air. Still, it is polite to wait at least until after the show has been seen everywhere to post spoilers. It is common courtesy. Just because this isn't golden-road.net doesn't mean we can post spoiler after spoiler. Besides on golden-road.net, they have to wait approximately 11 hours after the show to air before they can post anything. Here, we only have to wait a couple of hours. You wouldn't like to be spoiled, so don't spoil others. This site may not have a spoiler policy, but don't post spoilers until a little bit later because it is common courtesy. No title card for the main page?[edit]

Any chance of somebody getting a free image and posting it?

I added one. It had to be a screen cap, but its under the same rationale as other screen caps on Wikipedia, and does not diminish the copyright of the show. I have added it to the page, along with an infobox that needs more information. --Mr. Brown (talk) 03:04, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Half Off?[edit]

The wording as written right now implies that the contestant returns 25k to play for the million, and if they win the million, they do not also win the 25k. I don't have a recording of that episode; can someone confirm the wording used as to whether Half Off's million dollar chance involved risking the 25k or returning it? If the contestant wins the $25,000 they chance a chance to play for $1,000,000. If they go for it and are right, they win the million and the $25,000. If they go for it and are wrong, they win nothing. This does not apply to the $500 they win each time they correctly guess which price is the half off price. Plinko played twice[edit]

I've noted that Plinko was used twice as the Million Dollar game and is the only one done that way. I'm beginning to wonder if perhaps the second playing of Plinko as a Million Dollar Game was a fallback. I currently have no solid facts on this, just a conjecture. See, on the 7th Spectacular (the one with Switcheroo as the game), Pathfinder was played as a normal game; but the contestant won without making a mistake. If Pathfinder was to be the original game for #8, might this have potentially spooked the producers, causing them to make the switch? Like I said, this is only conjecture on my part, and I'm putting it here to see if perhaps someone here can provide information to corroborate or refute my thought. —68.10.101.122 (talk) 21:26, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mil$ Game?[edit]

Is there a point at which we should move the million dollar game winning conditions to the game articles themselves, and not have a big long list in this article? It was ok when there were only a half dozen games, but this list could grow long - a list of games (linked) with descriptions contained there might soon be more appropriate. We can probably leave it as is for the moment, as the Season 36 run is now concluded, and all nine games are listed. If new games are introduced for any future spectaculars, then there may be more reason to consider simplifying or at the least reorganizing the list. Persistent, repeated edit reversions[edit]

I am becoming increasingly irritated at the person or persons who keep reverting the edits I've been making to the page. It is well known that this show has not aired an episode since season 36 (May 2008). No episodes aired in season 37, nor is there any spot in the schedule for it in season 38; this is known. By definition, the show is on hiatus. I have never claimed the show was canceled. Yet these people seem to want to convey the idea that the show is still in production, and still airing new episodes. As of now, IT IS NOT. I do not want to start an edit war, so please... come to your senses. If you believe I am in error, please explain to me why I am mistaken.J. This is all really overblown. The MDSes are ordered on an ad-hoc basis whenever CBS needs something to fill a hole in the schedule. Right now the show is neither on hiatus nor in production, but simply not being ordered. —Scott5114 ↗ [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 09:36, 24 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
