Where's the beef?

[edit]

Why has the Talk page been deleted for this article, since there is obviously some disagreement about the content, and the entry has been much changed from its original? The earlier version gave a good summary of the Seventy Years' Declaration at the beginning, while this one seeks to present it as the private initiative of two academics opposing the Prague declaration, despite the 70 Years' Declaration being signed by a number of MEPs. I don't think it's appropriate to hide the controversy by burying the Talk page. Whoever hid it, please restore it. Hypatea (talk) 14:14, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

OK, this entry is devolving into a vandalism-fest, with a discussion of whether the Holocaust was unique or not in the first paragraph. This is not appropriate for an article about a political declaration which, while it does say the Holocaust is unique, says a number of other things as well. The entry is about the declaration, not the Holocaust per se. I would like the editor or editors who are distorting this entry, especially whoever put Norman Finklestein's book as the first reference, to explain their edits here, otherwise I'm going to revert it to an earlier version.
