Purpose Built[edit]

This article may be able to say that the Glasgow club was "purpose built" if it was clearer what it actually means. It also needs to be clearer if what is being discussed is the building itself, or the premises and its design.

Claims that emphasize its uniqueness also need to come from somewhere else than a primary source, which will, naturally, only present a partial opinion. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 13:21, 1 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The words purpose built may not be correct, what we meant to say was dedicated, its just the official website uses the words purpose built so that influenced us to use it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rossmuir3107 (talkcontribs) 14:07, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. But I'd say "dedicated", or maybe "purpose designed for stand-up comedy", it's less confusing. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 16:45, 2 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Famous members or performers[edit]

Is it possible to find out who's attended this club, and have a list similar to the list on the Cambridge Footlights page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.143.5.246 (talk) 17:44, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The Stand NYC[edit]

Is there any connection between the long-running UK comedy club The Stand and New York-based comedy club The Stand NYC http://www.thestandnyc.com/ ? --Larrybob (talk) 19:12, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
