Issues #1 and 3 (at least) had at least three printings (my Issues #1 and 3 (all three printed in Canada) has "THIRD PRINTING" stamped after the copyright at the bottom of the first page. My #2 does not)

Cover price was allegedly 40 cents, but the copy I have has no cover price - possibly because mine was printed in Canada, but maybe also because mine came with the audio tapes - it's possible that they did not originally come with audio tapes and those were 40 cents?

Since 90% of the story is flashback (and the actual plot itself is pretty clearly a shell just existing for the purpose of telling all the origin stories), I've focused the synopsis on the origin stories as told in this mini-series, so that people can compare to other origin stories for the various characters.

For the purposes of placing these issues in continuity, Alfred mentions Batman's recent "problems with Catwoman" and "the warehouse explosion" a few days past. Someone who knows Batman can probably place those items. with the July-Sept 1980 publishing date. It also SEEMS to me like Robin was still at university but came back because Alfred called him. If this seems wrong, please correct the synopsis.

The comics are copyright 1980, while the paperback is copyright 1982. I assume that means the paperback was printed in 1982, but I'm not positive, so I left it out. You can see the copyright page on amazon's "preread" feature. The paperback is black and white on amazon. Not sure how amazon does it's preread - so I'm not sure if the paperback is actually black and white, or just because amazon has monochromed it.

Regarded the Batmobile, In this comic, Batman drives (and the car is blown up), the the 80's style car shown in the batmobile article (Image:Batmobile-Batman Untold Legends No 3.jpg <seen here - tho the front isn't quite as narrow - it's quite rectangular from above - it's that general design with the batface on the hood, two fits, one jet on the back, etc.) HOWEVER, in the flashback to Robin's Origin, Batman drives the 40s-50s style car with the single fin and batface vertically on the front of an otherwise pretty normal coupe.

I believe the people kidnapping Wayne in the Batgirl origin story are Killer Moth's hencemen - they look like moth-people, and it seems implied in the panel where Gordon says that Batgirl helped capture Killer Moth. If I'm wrong, please correct.

I don't know if this is abnormal for 1980 batman lore, but Both Gordon and Robin appear to know of Batgirls identity in issue 3. If this is abnormal for Batman continuity, someone should mention it in the article.

The fact that Robin is there at the end implies that the walls of the batcave crushing him is not him being psychotic, but that it actually happened... But I still have no idea how you manage to make the walls of the batcave crush in on you. Maybe someone else has another interpretation? I dunno.

I believe the book (linked above on amazon) is what is considered a graphic novel? If I'm wrong, please wipe that category.
