Media placements
[edit]Recently I cleaned up this article and removed most of a list of "media placements" of songs by The Weepies in various movies and TV shows, though I kept reference to one significant on-screen appearance and the significant inclusion in Barack Obama's campaign ad. I made these changes because a detailed long list of appearances doesn't seem to me to be relevant (beyond the simple recognition that songs have occasionally been used) and doesn't follow standard practice—if you look at pages for other bands you don't see long lists of various appearances in media unless they are very significant. Many, many songs by many bands are featured in television shows and this article isn't the place for long lists of them. At any rate, mentions of these inclusions would better belong on pages for individual songs or perhaps albums.
If you feel otherwise I am open for discussion.
